
About Myanmar visa in Bangkok
The normal tourist visa is single entry, valid for three months and good for a 28 day stay. You need approximately an hour to submit your documents and to pay at the cashier.
Once you have shown your completed form at counter 4, you will get a queue number, then sit down and wait for your number to pay your visa fee.
Picking up your visa in Bangkok
When you come back to pickup your passport, stand in line at the appropriate window, show your yellow receipt and pick up your passport. Don't forget to review your Myanmar visa before you leave.
Documents you need to apply for your visa in Bangkok
- The completed Visa Application Form
- Your passport
- A photocopy of the 1st page of your passport
- 2 passport size photos
Two photos are required; one glued to the application form and one paper-clipped to the form.

The visa section of the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok is open for applications from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (doors close at 12:00 sharp). The visa collection is between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm.
