Myanmar shares borders with India, Bangladesh, Laos, China and Thailand. However, it is only possible to enter Myanmar by land from China and Thailand. Getting to Myanmar by land is not a wise option as the borders tend to close and open depending on the weather and the political situation. Don’t expect cars, buses or other vehicles to carry you across. Remember to have your Visa ready before you get to the border.
